The School of Tourism and Hospitality Managment Sant Ignasi and the Eurecat technology centre have signed a collaboration agreement in order to strengthen their relationship and organize joint initiatives that benefit both organizations. With this agreement, HTSI and Eurecat are initiating a long-term collaboration that will include a number of joint initiatives and strategies to reinforce the School’s relationship with the technology centre.
Eurecat, Centre Tecnològic de Catalunya (a member of Tecnio) brings together the combined experience of over 650 professionals who generate more than €51 million each year and provide services to over 1,500 businesses. Applied R+D, tech services, highly specialized training, tech consultancy and professional events are some of the services Eurecat offers for large, medium-sized and small companies from all sectors. With facilities in Barcelona, Canet de Mar, Cerdanyola del Vallès, Girona, Lleida, Manresa, Mataró, Reus, Tarragona, Amposta and Vila-seca, it participates in 160 large, highly strategic R+D+i consortium projects on a national and international level. It also holds 81 patents and 7 spin-offs.
