The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi and GEBTA (Guild of European Business Travel Agents) have signed a collaboration agreement in order to strengthen their relationship and organize joint initiatives that benefit both organizations.
With this new collaboration agreement, HTSI and GEBTA are planting the seed for a long-term collaboration that will include a number of joint initiatives and strategies to reinforce the School’s relationship with an organization that represents the foremost business travel companies.
GEBTA is the leading organization for business travel in Spain. Some of its members include leading businesses on a world level, large domestic companies, as well as medium-sized businesses specialized in corporate travel. Altogether, the companies that make up GEBTA generate over 3 billion euros and represent over 75% of Spain’s business travel market.
One of the strategic pillars of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi is collaboration with tourism businesses in order to ensure an in-depth knowledge of the industry, and to establish collaboration networks while also promoting the job placement of graduates. To this end, HTSI organizes a range of mutually beneficial initiatives with businesses.
